Update on Koi deliveries from APC
For anyone with koi boarding with us currently, or looking to make a purchase, APC will be resuming some service for live animals.
"Limited Service Re-instated For Live Fish/Coral
Following this week’s review of suitable days to accept live fish / live coral, we have decided that as we will be unable to ship any live fish / live coral week commencing 25th May following the bank holiday, we will allow live fish / live coral shipments on 2 days next week, therefore APC will accept these shipments on Tuesday 19th May & Wednesday 20th May.
After Wednesday 20th May, it is currently our intention to recommence live fish / live coral shipments week commencing 1st June. This will be reviewed and confirmed nearer the time whether we accept shipments on one or two days of that week."

Powercuts or equipment failure are nightmare scenarios for koi keepers, especially in summer. Koi are sensitive animals needing a high dissolved oxygen content.
99.99% of koi keepers will rely on electricity to power air pumps, with airlines and diffusers delivering oxygen rich air to the pond.
