It's been 10 days since our latest shipment from Japan arrived, and I have to say, they are looking good!
Handling shipments direct from Japan is always a worry as you have to hope everything was packed in good condition and there are no delays. Everything arrived in excellent condition, aided by the cold weather as we shipped back quite late.
The pond is currently running at 24c (althought the video will show 23c, filming was done after a water change), and will remain at 24c for further week. From there on we repeat the process of heat ramping, as detailed here.
If you have koi purchased or reserved, then you are welcome to view from now on. Koi will be available to collect from around 20th January all being well.
Graham has been keeping koi for over 25 years, and dealing in koi for 15 years. Travelling to Japan to select new stocks is the favourite aspect of the business, closely followed by being on the tools pond building.
Comments will be approved before showing up.
